So on 10-07-2009, Maju Motors invited me and the members of the VAG Club Brunei and VGOC (Volkswagen Golf Owners Club) to the launching of the new Volkswagen Golf Mark 6.



The event started on 9.30AM and lasted until 12.00PM. It was a pretty straight-forward event with quite a welcoming and soothing environment as there was a live band "Aces" during the occasion.

I couldn't took my eyes off the band as I realized it was the band that my ex-band mates told me, back in 2004 there was a band who covered "Dream Theater" too. And there I was, witnessing that band.. But no, obviously they didn't played any DT songs during the event!

Anyhow,

"The Volkswagen Golf Mk6 (or VW Typ 5K) is the successor to the Mk5, and was unveiled at the Paris Auto Show in October 2008. Volkswagen released pictures and information on 6 August 2008, prior to the official unveiling.

The vehicle was released to the European market in the winter of 2008. Major investment has been made in production efficiency, with a claimed productivity improvement at launch of nearly 20% in comparison with the previous model, and further gains planned for the next twelve months."

Congratulations to Maju Motors upon the launching of the car! And to those who's waiting for the VW Mk.6 Golf GTI, it will be debuted next month. ;)

And it was a gift I didn't think could be real. I met her up that afternoon later, and yes.. we pretty much missed each other. Can't wait to see you again next time! ♥♥
