So I had to sleep at bandar for like 3 days at my band's uncle house (Rimba). The RTB Recording was for "Rentak Kita" of which will be aired sometime in February or so. It was really tiring as we had to bring our own Guitar/Bass/Keyboard and the Amplifiers along with the Drumset.

We arrived at "Amit" Aman's house (Sama macam si Faiz rupanya, haha) at around 8pm. We didn't unloaded the amps cause we were too tired. Instead, we just parked our cars behind his house (yes, for security reasons). The last incident happened at their uncle's house was his Guitar, the Gibson Les Paul Studio was stolen. Awu banar-banar, I'm not kidding. Rumah nya kana pacah, but there was no one home during that time. But still we had to becareful.

Regardless, after settling down for awhile, we were going out to Hua-ho to find some new clothes. Bought some snacks and we went back to Rimba.

We had some conversations before we went to sleep, talking about what's going to happen the next day (Recording day), and what we were going to do. Alot of things went through my mind. I had trouble going to sleep for awhile. But though, one of my thoughts got answered, and finally went to sleep better. :)

The next morning, we had to wake up early to set up our things at RTB Studio. Up at 10am, we already on our way there. Weird thing is, the manager for our band told us they will do the soundchecks and setup before the afternoon.



We went there, and it's like... "Ampai barang saja"? With no commands issued to us, we just went on doing nothing. The drums were set though, and personally I thought it looked cool if its going to be aired on TV.

So after setting up and things, it was almost 1:30PM and felt "L" for Friday's Prayers. We went for lunch, and was told at 2PM, the rehearsal and recording session would start. We were going back to Rimba until the manager told us this, "Eh mana kamu? 1:45 kamu mesti ada balik. Durang menunggu sudah ne, mental sudah". And we were like, what the hell? We haven't even went home to Rimba yet to change our clothes for the recording session. Confused, some just went there to the Studio while me and Maziz still had to go to Rimba to take our clothes. Running late, we had to zoom from Yayasan (at where we had lunch) to Rimba, then back to RTB!

Then the manager saw us, went blabbering and I was like giving the "Whatever" looks, and sampat lagi tu ya kan comment pasal sound keyboard ku? What do he knows? Everyone was pissed off. Then I had to still went for a damn makeup, (palui paluh-paluh kan bemakeup!). By then, everything was set at around 3PM. And we're like "Thanks for the misinformation, kami gagas" kinda environment. We still went on for the show. Then the session started.

With the background lights ready, soundchecked and camera's rolling.. we were blasting the Studio Hall with our beat. But firstly, we were still not in the heat. But later on, I felt my voice came back. And yes, it actually does went well. Although a couple of mistakes, we were reluctant to macam cakap, "Umm boleh sekali lagi? Tadi ada salah sikit ah". The crew there looked pretty scary, but still friendly somehow. We requested to record "Selamat Tinggal Kasihku" one more time and they were okay about it. Tapi macam tanya penerbit durang lagi and things like that, malas tia kami for other songs. So the songlist were:

1) J-Rocks - Ceria
2) J-Rocks - Lepaskan Diri Ku
3) J-Rocks - Selamat Tinggal Kasihku
4) J-Rocks - Semakin Sendiri
5) Dream Theater - About To Crash.

Yang aku puas hati was Lepaskan Diriku and About To Crash. The rest were okay, but not really perfect but who cares. We're getting paid anyway, haha!

The session then ended at 6PM. Packed our things back to the car, and we were going to a nearby Food Stall to satisfy the hunger and thirst we had during the recording session. Everyone was tired, but we were still doing things and talk things like nothing happened back there at RTB. Everybody felt better, then we all went back home to Rimba to refresh ourselves. And yeah, it was like a day went well.

Then si Walid had this weird idea of going to the mall to watch a movie. And we were like, "AAAAAA?". Aku mana saja, and I know like the others, kalau kana lanja okay eh. He didn't wanted, but we still went to the mall just to chill out. Jumpa durang si Is arah Hair Rock, and jalan-jalan lagi, main arcade then baru tah balik. Bosan banar? Though, at that point.. we split ways because it was Saturday tomorrow and some had to go to work/school, etc. Those who didn't went home (me, Fattah, Faiz, Maziz and Barry) went back to Rimba. We chilled out until early morning(-ish) until we were too tired and went to sleep.

Next morning, we had to wake up early somehow because Maziz's SO wanted to treat us for lunch and.. at the Mall. Haha! And aku macam, mana saja! Aku lapar ne. Hahaha. Mandi, and etc.. We met her at the Mall, then ate at.. eh apa nama kadai nya ane ah? First time aku di sana. Kesian aku, hahaha.



Ordered this, and it was really good actually. Inda ku tau lah ah kalau pasal aku lapar, but I felt macam "Oh baru tah aku pernah rasa Nasi Briyani ane nyaman". HAHAHA! After lunch, back to Rimba and supposingly going home at 4PM, we stalled at Rimba due to bad weather? And went back home at 9PM instead.

Back at Maziz's house, we unloaded the gears, chilled for awhile then I went home. I finally stepped on my door's footsteps and I thought... "Home sweet home". Took my bath, online sekejap then tidor! :)

So yeah, I guess that was a "real" trip. Things like these would come along more often soon. I know "1st Quarter" is going somewhere. I am hoping.
